    Former Black Stars captain, Andre Dede Ayew turns 36 today, December 17, 2025.

    Born in Accra on Sunday, December 17, 1989, Andre Dede Ayew lived his father Abedi Pele’s dream by playing at the FIFA World Cup on three occasions (2010, 2014 and 2022).

    As the Ghanaian celebrate another special day in his life, the official handles of the Black Stars and French Ligue 1 also took to social media to join the celebrations.

    “Join us in wishing #BlackStars legend, André Dede Ayew a fantastic birthday,” the official Black Stars handle posted on X with two videos of Andre’s goals at the World Cup and AFCON.

    The Ligue 1 handle on X also posted a picture of the Ghanaian legend with the caption “Happy birthday, André Ayew.”

    Andre Dede Ayew is the most capped Ghanaian player of all time with 116 appearances and has scored 29 goals.
