Black Stars Legends, Music Stars Rally Behind Prince Tagoe After Betbooker Ambassadorship

Former Black Stars captains Asamoah Gyan and Stephen Appiah, football legends Laryea Kingston and Fatawu Dauda, alongside several Ghanaian music and media personalities, have congratulated former Black Stars striker Prince Tagoe following his appointment as brand ambassador for betting company Betbooker.

Per information sighted by Zionfelix Entertainment News, the former Ghana international has signed a one-year partnership with Betbooker, with the agreement open to renewal after its expiration. The deal will see the former striker serve as the face of the betting company while participating in football-focused initiatives.

Prince Tagoe, popularly known as the “Prince of Goals,” announced the new partnership on his official Instagram page, expressing excitement about beginning another chapter of his career.

“A new chapter begins. I’m proud to officially join the Betbooker family as Brand Ambassador. Football has taken me to incredible places, and I’m excited to bring my experience, passion and love for the game into this new journey,” he wrote.

The announcement quickly attracted congratulatory messages from some of Tagoe’s former teammates and other prominent Ghanaian personalities.

Former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan was among the first to react, describing Tagoe as the “Prince of goals” in the comments section.

Another former Black Stars captain, Stephen Appiah, also congratulated his former teammate, writing, “Congrats Prince.”

Former Black Stars midfielder and Tagoe’s former playing mate Laryea Kingston joined the celebration with a simple message: “Congratulations bro.”

Former Black Stars goalkeeper Fatawu Dauda also showed his support, writing, “Congratulations goals.”

The support has not been limited to the football fraternity. Ghanaian music personalities including Jay Bahd, members of music duo Keche and artiste J.Derobie have also congratulated Tagoe on his new role.

Seasoned journalist and media personality Arnold Asamoah Baidoo, artiste manager BullGod and media personality Nana Romeo are among other personalities who have applauded the former striker and wished him well.

    Why Betbooker Chose Prince Tagoe

Betbooker Country Manager Edith Amoah explained that the partnership was influenced by a shared vision between the company and Prince Tagoe.

She said the company is interested in supporting football development at the grassroots and colts level by helping discover and support young talents who have the potential to represent Ghana and play for top clubs.

According to her, Betbooker wants to contribute to identifying the next generation of Ghanaian football stars and providing them with the necessary support to develop their careers.

The partnership is therefore expected to go beyond brand promotion, with Betbooker and Prince Tagoe exploring football-related initiatives aimed at engaging fans and contributing to conversations around talent discovery and development.

For Prince Tagoe, the appointment represents another significant chapter in a football career that saw him play for the Black Stars and earn recognition as one of Ghana’s notable strikers.
