The Black Stars of Ghana have touched down in N’Djamena, the capital of Chad, ahead of their upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification match against the country’s national team.
The Stars departed Ghana on Tuesday evening September 2, 2025, after two training sessions at the Accra Sports Stadium.
After hours on the flight, the Ghana national team, made up of players and the technical team, arrived safely in N’Djamena and will check into their hotel to catch some sleep.
On Wednesday afternoon September 3, 2025, the Black Stars, led by Coach Otto Addo and his technical staff, will have a final training session to finalise preparations for the encounter against Chad on Thursday, September 4.
The team will subsequently return to Ghana to face Mali in a big game in Group I in the qualifiers on September 8.
Currently top of their group with 15 points, the Black Stars are aiming to amass all six points from the next two games to seal early qualification to next year’s mundial.
