The Black Starlets of Ghana are gearing up for an exciting start to the WAFU Zone B U-17 Championship in Côte d’Ivoire, with their first match scheduled for Saturday, September 20, 2025, against Togo at the Charles Konan Banny Stadium in Yamoussoukro at 6:00 p.m.

The young Ghanaian side faces tough competition in Group A, where they are drawn alongside Côte d’Ivoire and Niger.

Their second game will be against the host nation, Côte d’Ivoire, on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., also at the Charles Konan Banny Stadium.

The Starlets will wrap up their group stage campaign on Friday, September 26, 2025, against Niger at the same venue, with kickoff at 3:00 p.m.

Under the guidance of coach Prosper Narteh Ogum, the Black Starlets are determined to make their mark in a challenging group, with Côte d’Ivoire’s home advantage adding extra intensity to the clash.

Meanwhile, Group B features Nigeria, Burkina Faso, and Benin, setting the stage for a fierce tournament.

However, the Starlets’ intensive preparations and recent friendly victories suggest they are ready for the challenge.

As the Charles Konan Banny Stadium prepares to host these electrifying encounters, all eyes will be on the Black Starlets to kick off their campaign with a statement win against Togo.
