Black Starlets have arrived in Morocco ahead of the 2026 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations as preparations intensify for the continental tournament.

The Ghana U-17 boys side return to the competition after a nine-year absence, with their last appearance coming in 2017 in Gabon where they finished as runners-up. The team will be hoping to make a strong statement on their return to the African stage.

The delegation travelled with a 21-player squad alongside 14 officials and is expected to continue final preparations in Rabat before the tournament officially gets underway.

The Black Starlets have been in camp for several months at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence, where the technical team monitored and shaped the squad ahead of the competition.

As part of preparations, the team also travelled to Côte d’Ivoire for two international friendly matches against the young Elephants.

The two-time African champions are targeting a strong campaign in Morocco as they seek qualification for the next FIFA U-17 World Cup.

Ghana has been drawn in a challenging Group D alongside Algeria, Senegal and South Africa.

The tournament is scheduled to run from May 13 to June 2, 2026, with Africa’s best young talents set to compete for continental glory and qualification to the FIFA U-17 World Cup.

    Below is the full squad:
