On the joyous occasion of his birthday and reeling off his sold-out annual concert in Accra, Ghana. The multi-award-winning Ghanaian music sensation Black Sherif is set to strike a chord with fans worldwide with his first sonic offering of the year, titled ‘Lord I’m Amazed,‘ via RBA/Empire. The highly anticipated single, which was teased on his Instagram account last November officially drops today– January 9, marking a soulful and introspective start to 2024.

Renowned for his raw storytelling, dynamic flow, and soul-stirring lyricism, Black Sherif blends gospel-inspired melodies with heartfelt verses in ‘Lord I’m Amazed.’ The track chronicles his struggles, triumphs, and unwavering faith, delivering a profound message wrapped in harmonic layers and heartfelt instrumentation.

“This song is not just music; it’s my prayer, my gratitude, and my testimony wrapped in melody,” Black Sherif shared. “I want every listener to feel the same sense of awe and gratitude that I feel every day.”

With ethereal harmonies, a powerful chord progression, and Black Sherif’s signature emotive delivery, ‘Lord I Am Amazed’ is poised to become an instant anthem—one that transcends genres and speaks directly to the soul.

Following his monumental success with his Zaama Disco concert last December, which saw 23,000 fans gathered at the Untamed Empire to witness the 23-year-old musical genius and the astronomical plaudits with his debut album, The Villain I Never Was, and a plethora of multiple chart-topping singles and international acclaim, Black Sherif is gearing up for the release of Iron Boy, his sophomore album. With Lord, I’m Amazed setting the tone for the year before the grand arrival of the album, which is expected to explore deeper themes of perseverance, growth, and breaking new frontiers—all while maintaining the energy and authenticity that have made Black Sherif a household name.

‘Lord I’m Amazed’ is available now on all major streaming platforms and gives fans a glimpse into the bold, introspective journey that will unfold in ‘Iron Boy.’ As he continues to cement his place as one of Africa’s most dynamic musical voices, Black Sherif’s message remains clear: true strength comes from within, and no obstacle can stand in the way of someone determined to rise.
