Black Queens winger, Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah has signed a two-year contract with Nottingham Forest Women, marking a significant move from Women’s Championship champions London City Lionesses.

The 29-year-old attacker, known for her versatility and goal-scoring prowess, played a pivotal role in London City’s promotion campaign, netting six goals, including a crucial header in the title-deciding match against Birmingham City.

Boye-Hlorkah’s journey began at Everton’s Centre of Excellence, where she made her Women’s Super League debut in 2013, followed by an eight-year stint with the Toffees and two seasons at Aston Villa.

Her international experience, including a bronze medal with Ghana at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, adds depth to her profile as she joins a Forest side eager to build on their historic 2024/25 season.

Boye-Hlorkah expressed her excitement about the transfer, stating, “I’m excited to join the Club and play with this group of players.”

“The team had an incredible season last year – history is being created here, and I’m grateful that I can be a part of continuing to build something special at the Club.”

Nottingham Forest Women’s head coach, Carly Davies, who previously worked with Boye-Hlorkah, praised her addition, saying, “Chaney is a player with proven quality at the highest level, having previously played for Everton, Aston Villa, and reigning WSL2 champions London City Lionesses. Her ability to influence games, both with and without the ball, will be a huge asset as we continue to push for success.”

As Forest’s seventh signing of the summer, Boye-Hlorkah is poised to bring her attacking threat and experience to the Garibaldi Red, aiming to elevate the team in the 2025/26 season.
