The Black Queens have arrived in Sekondi-Takoradi to continue preparations for the second leg of their Women’s Olympic football tournament qualifiers against Mauritius.

The team touched down yesterday with a full contingent of players and technical staff and will hold their Matchday-1 training session at the Essipun Sports Stadium.

Ghana heads into the encounter with a commanding advantage after securing an emphatic 3-0 victory in the first leg played at the Côte d’Or National Sports Complex in Mauritius last week.

Head Coach Kim Lars Björkegren and his side will now look to complete the job in front of their home fans and seal progression to the third round of the qualifiers for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

The Black Queens will host Mauritius in the second leg tie at a 3pm kick-off game at the Essipun Sports Stadium.
