Head coach of the Ghana Black Maidens, Joe Nana Adarkwa, has invited a 30-player provisional squad to begin camping at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence as preparations intensify for the upcoming qualifiers for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.

The training camp in Prampram will allow the technical team to assess players’ fitness levels, tactical discipline, and team chemistry ahead of the crucial two-legged qualifying tie against Togo. The first leg of the encounter is scheduled to take place between April 10 and 12, 2026, in Lomé, while the return leg will be played in Ghana from April 17 to 19, 2026.

The Black Maidens, one of Africa’s most successful youth teams, have a proud record in the competition, having represented Ghana at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup on several occasions. The team is determined to secure another qualification and continue Ghana’s strong presence in international women’s youth football.

Officials of the Ghana Football Association are confident the preparations will put the team in a strong position ahead of the qualifiers.
