Head coach of the Black Galaxies, Didi Dramani, is staying positive ahead of their clash against Nigeria in the Championship for African Nations (CHAN) qualifiers.

Ghana is facing Nigeria for the second time running, having edged them out on penalties two years ago to secure a spot in the last edition.

The Black Galaxies will play host to their neighbors at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, December 22, 2024, before the reverse fixture in Nigeria.

As part of their preparations, Ghana recently beat Togo in an international friendly game, with Albert Amoah and Issah Yakubu getting the goals.

“We are physically, technically, and tactically well-oriented. As the days go by, we continue to refine and make small adjustments and provide alternatives in the game.

“I’m very positive that come Sunday, we should be fully ready. As for preparation, we are okay; we are already there, but we have to be ready for the game.”

The CHAN tournament is set to be staged in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
