    BKFC Closes Out 2025 With Knockouts And High Drama At Mohegan Sun » December 22, 2025

    Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship wrapped up its 2025 calendar Saturday night at the Mohegan Sun with BKFC Fight Night Mohegan Sun, an ten-bout card that delivered debuts, decisive stoppages, controversial moments, and a thrilling heavyweight main event. The show marked BKFC’s final event of the year and streamed live on the promotion’s Bare Knuckle TV app.

    Below is a complete recap of the action, presented from the main event down through the opening bout.

    Parker Porter Wins Wild Heavyweight Main Event

    The night closed with a dramatic heavyweight main event between unbeaten knockout artists Parker Porter and Anthony “The Warrior of Christ” Garrett.

    Both men exchanged power shots from the opening bell. After Porter scored the first knockdown of thr bout, Garrett took control of thr action after scoring three knockdowns in the first. Porter survived to see the second round — a first for both fighters in BKFC competition.

    Early in round two, Porter landed a massive left hand, followed by a right as Garrett fell to the canvas. Garrett was unable to beat the count, and the fight was stopped at 0:41 of the second round.

    Porter remains undefeated at 3-0 (3). Garrett falls to 3-1 (3).

    Casey Stops Previously Unbeaten Sanchez

    In the co-featured bout was in the middleweight division, with Pat “The Gorilla Ninja” Casey taking on undefeated Anthony “Sandman” Sanchez.

    It was a dominant performance by Casey, as he dropped Sanchez twice in the first round with heavy combinations. Sanchez beat the count both times, but the referee deemed him unable to continue.

    The stoppage came at 1:47 of round one.

    Casey improves to 3-2 (2). Sanchez suffers his first loss, falling to 2-1 (2).

    Barrett Edges Pike in Split Decision

    Lightweight debutant Anthony “The Pistol” Pike faced “Slippery” Pete Barrett in a closely contested bout.

    Both fighters landed clean shots from range, with Pike and Barrett each opening cuts on the other as the fight progressed. Neither fighter scored a knockdown.

    The judges returned scores of 49-46 Barrett, 48-47 Pike, and 48-47 Barrett, giving Barrett the split-decision win.

    Barrett improves to 2-0 (1). Pike begins his BKFC career at 0-1.

    Balletto Overwhelms Mauller With Five Knockdowns

    Gary “Batman” Balletto made a dominant return to bare-knuckle competition against Skyler Mauller.

    Balletto bloodied Mauller within the opening minute and mixed accurate outside punching with rapid inside flurries. He scored three knockdowns in the first round and two more in the second.

    After the fifth knockdown, the referee stopped the contest without a count at 0:29 of round two.

    Balletto improves to 2-0 (2). Mauller falls to 1-2 (1).

    Navarro Wins Split Decision in Crowd-Pleaser

    BKFC Veterans Lardy “Sito” Navarro and Tony Sanchez delivered one of the most competitive fights of the night in a bantamweight contest.

    Both fighters preferred close-range exchanges, with Sanchez focusing on body work during clinches. In the final moments, the crowd erupted as the fighters traded flurries, highlighted by Navarro landing a clean right hand.

    After five rounds, the judges scored it 49-46 Navarro, 48-47 Sanchez, and 48-47 Navarro, awarding Navarro a split-decision victory.

    Navarro improves to 4-1 (2). Sanchez drops to 2-3 (1).

    Roman Claims TKO in Featured Women’s Bout

    The evening’s featured women’s contest featured Gabriella Roman against Crystal “The Lovely” Van Wyk in a five-round strawweight bout.

    The first round was competitive, though Roman bloodied Van Wyk’s nose with repeated left hands. Before the second round began, the ringside physician advised the referee that Van Wyk was unfit to continue.

    The bout was stopped at 2:00 of the first round, giving Roman the TKO victory.

    Roman moves to 2-3-1 (2). Van Wyk’s record stands at 2-2.

    DiSciullo Scores One-Punch KO

    Lightweight Rico DiSciullo wasted no time against Stash “The Flash” Kuykendall.

    Kuykendall initiated exchanges, but DiSciullo’s counters proved decisive. With Kuykendall backed against the ropes, a clean left hand put him down for the count.

    The knockout came at 0:41 of the first round.

    DiSciullo improves to 2-0 (2). Kuykendall falls to 0-2.

    Viana Scores TKO in Heavyweight Debut

    In the first of two heavyweight contests on the card, Guilherme Viana took on Aleem “Hammer” Whitfield.

    Whitfield started fast, but Viana dropped him with a single left hand in the first round and controlled the action thereafter. Despite a point deduction in round two for striking a downed opponent, Viana maintained steady forward pressure.

    In the closing seconds of the second, a left hand sent Whitfield to the canvas once more. Referee Edgar Lopez waved it off at 1:59 of round two.

    Viana wins his BKFC debut, moving to 1-0 (1). Whitfield drops to 0-2.

    Joe Peters Stays Perfect With Wild First-Round TKO

    Light heavyweight action this evening included Joe “Bam Bam” Peters faced debuting David Burke.

    The opening round was chaotic. Peters dropped Burke with a jab, only for Burke to answer moments later with a right hand that sent Peters to the canvas. Peters then returned the favor, dropping Burke again in the final seconds of the round.

    Burke beat the count, but between rounds the ringside physician ruled he could not continue. The bout was stopped at 2:00 of the first round, giving Peters the TKO victory.

    Peters improves to 2-0 (2). Burke falls to 0-1.

    Caniglia Earns First BKFC Win After Disqualification

    The night opened with a lightweight bout between Travis “The Outlaw” Demko and Ashton “No Chance” Caniglia, marking Demko’s bare-knuckle debut.

    Both fighters landed clean shots early, with Demko’s pressure giving him the edge in the opening round. Caniglia responded in the second by controlling the pace from the outside. In the third, Caniglia was building momentum before two separate eye pokes halted the action. After the second infraction, Demko was docked a point.

    Early in the fourth round, another eye poke prompted referee John English to disqualify Demko at 0:34 of round four.

    Caniglia picks up his first BKFC victory, improving to 1-1, while Demko begins his bare-knuckle career at 0-1.

    Closing Thoughts

    BKFC Fight Night Mohegan Sun delivered a fitting conclusion to the promotion’s 2025 schedule, blending raw intensity with decisive finishes and competitive matchmaking. With debuts, upsets, and a memorable heavyweight main event, the Mohegan Sun crowd witnessed the full spectrum of bare-knuckle drama.
