Disturbing footage has emerged of a man running along suburban street stark naked apart from socks and sneakers.
A passing motorist was among those who copped an eyeful as they captured the wild scenes on dashcam in Croydon in Adelaide‘s inner-west recently.
The short clip showed the man seemingly unperturbed by his absence of clothing as he casually jogged along the footpath past homes.
A South Australia Police spokeswoman told Daily Mail Australia that it’s aware of the incident but added it wasn’t reported.
Police issued a warning that running naked in South Australia is an offence under indecent exposure laws outlined in the Summary Offences Act 1953.
The maximum penalty for indecent exposure in a public place is a fine of up to $1,250 or three months behind bars.
The clip divided online viewers and sparked a wide range of reactions from disgust to amusement
‘At least he is wearing socks and shoes,’ one joked.

Another quipped: ‘Well done for taking up jogging, but please remember your clothes next time.’
A third wrote: ‘I’m guessing he lost a bet or something,’
But not everyone saw the funny side and urged the man to been mindful of others.
‘Not funny, what if kids came out from a house. Keep your clothes on,’ one viewer wrote.
Police urged anyone with information about the incident to contact Crime Stoppers.

South Australia Police said officers have been made aware of the incident, however it wasn’t reported to police (pictured the man jogging on a footpath)
The latest incident comes after police issued a warning over a separate incident in October following reports a nude man was sighted twice at a park.
The man aged in his 40s was first spotted at the Anstey Hill Recreational Park, in Adelaide’s north-east.
He ran and hid in the bushes after he was spotted again at the north-east corner of the park.
Police searched the area at the time, but were unable to find him and urged walkers to remain vigilant.
