A birthday surprise almost took a dramatic turn when the husband played a prank on the celebrant, falsely claiming their toddler had fallen down the stairs.

As she tries to hurry to her baby, the 40-year-old celebrant is seen screaming and raging at the surprise team in a video shared online. The woman kept asking why such a costly prank was being made.

The celebratory atmosphere became tense and worrisome, sending the woman into a panic till her husband pleaded and persuaded her to leave the hotel building for her surprise package.

Her husband gave her a ten million naira cheque, a money bouquet, and other luxurious gifts to celebrate her 40th birthday. To help her relax, her son was also placed in her arms.

Internet users acknowledged that the woman’s rage was valid especially because it concerns her child.

    Below are some reactions,

@mandyz_sleek If you prank me like this, all the things when you bring you go return them.

@ajay_onazi You can’t use a woman’s child being in danger to prank her. Nothing is abnormal about her reaction.

@fortuneroyal_official Thank God for that voice over..her reaction was valid, the prank is too expensive please

@property_grid How can use your son falling down the stairs as a prank ?

@diotbrand This is not an overreaction!!! Any true mother would feel the same way !!! That’s her child. Thank God Her husband apologized and realized his mistakes.
