Bibiani Gold Stars were denied a fifth consecutive home victory by ten-man Dreams FC at Dun’s Park on Sunday, November 3 2024.

The visitors were bottom of the league standings and were determined to get something from this game.

Karim Zito’s side had their mission on course as they kept The Miners scoreless before the break.

The Still Believe were reduced to ten men at the half-hour mark after Richmond Tetteh was sent off.

After recess, Dreams showed greater resilience as Gold Stars sought to exhaust them with possession.

The visitors withstood the waves of attacks by the Miners to deny them the chance of extending their lead atop the league standings.

Gold Stars maintain their three-point lead on the league log with 19 points after Asante Kotoko fell at home to Heart of Lions.

The hard-earned point means Dreams climbed to 17th position but could return to the bottom if Legon Cities win or draw in their match tomorrow.

The Miners still remain the only unbeaten side in the top flight this term and they travel to debutants, Young Apostles for their next game.

Dreams will host Medeama as they continue the search for their first win of the campaign.
