Matchday 6 of the UEFA Champions League, played on December 10, 2025, produced intriguing results as some clubs thrived while others struggled.

Struggling side Liverpool redeemed themselves at the San Siro after Dominik Szoboszlai’s penalty in additional time secured a late winner against Inter Milan.

German giants Bayern Munich mounted a comeback to defeat Sporting CP of Portugal. Goals from Serge Gnabry, Lennart Karl, and Jonathan Tah sealed the victory 3-1 for the Bavarians.

Elsewhere in Spain, Eintracht Frankfurt could not hold onto their early lead from Ansgar Knauff, as Jules Koundé’s brace cemented a 2-1 victory for the home side, Barcelona.

Another Spanish side, Atlético Madrid, secured a crucial 3-2 win over PSV Eindhoven. Goals from Julián Álvarez, David Hancko, and Alexander Sørloth overcame strikes from Guus Til and Ricardo Pepi for the visitors.

Monaco also triumphed over Galatasaray 1-0, with Folarin Balogun’s goal sealing the win for the French side. Marseille recorded a crucial 3-2 away victory over Union Saint-Gilloise.

Reigning FIFA Club World Cup champions, Chelsea slipped to a 2-1 defeat against Atalanta after Gianluca Scamacca and Charles De Ketelaere’s goals overturned João Pedro’s early strike in the 25th minute.

Gelson Martins’ goal was enough to hand Olympiacos a win against FC Kairat Almaty.

The remaining matchday 6 fixtures will be played on Wednesday, December 10, 2025.
