Champions Bibiani Gold Stars returned to winning ways in the Ghana Premier League with a hard-earned 1–0 victory over Karela United on Sunday at Dun’s Park in Bibiani.
Sanou Razak settled the contest in the 38th minute, finishing calmly to hand the Miners a deserved win and lift them back into the top four.
It was a controlled display from Gold Stars, who managed the game well after taking the lead and ensured Karela had little room to threaten a comeback.
The champions will now look to build on this momentum as they prepare for a Week 11 showdown with Nations FC, a match that could push them even higher up the table as they continue their title defence.
Karela United, meanwhile, leave Bibiani disappointed once again. They are now winless in three straight matches and continue to struggle for consistency. With pressure growing, they will hope to find relief next weekend when they face Basake Holy Stars in a crucial fixture.
