Berekum Chelsea and Dreams FC shared the spoils in a goalless draw at the Golden City Park, leaving both teams without a win in recent matches.

The home side extended their winless streak to three games, while Dreams FC, struggling near the relegation zone, are now winless in four consecutive matches.

Despite their heroics in reaching the semi-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup last season, Dreams find themselves second from bottom, facing a real threat of relegation.

Chelsea dominated possession with 58% of the ball, creating 11 goal attempts, three of which were on target. Dreams FC, with 42% possession, had seven goal attempts but could only register two shots on target. Both teams lacked precision in the final third, with eight and five shots off target for Chelsea and Dreams, respectively.

Set pieces also reflected the tight nature of the game, as Chelsea won four corners compared to Dreams’ three. Defensively, the goalkeepers played key roles, with Chelsea making two saves and Dreams recording three.

Berekum Chelsea remain in 8th position on the league table, while Dreams FC’s struggles leave them in a precarious position, battling to avoid the drop.
