Benab FC have once again emerged champions of zone 3 of the Ashanti Regional Division Two Championship and climaxed the regular season with an emphatic 5-1 win over Step FC in a very thrilling game at the Sofoline Alignment Astro Turf.
The ‘Everything by God’ lads have been outstanding since the commencement of the competition and despite some setbacks, they still pushed to secure their six consecutive Middle League qualification.
Benab FC have enjoyed an outstanding campaign, recording 16 wins, one draw, and just one defeat in 18 matches, a run that has seen them dominate the competition and finish ahead of their rivals.
Several players delivered key roles in the club’s successful season, including Aziz Dembélé, captain and goalkeeper Dickson, Danger, General skipper Alhassan, John Boye, Babamu, Fabregas, and Joseph Narbi, the captain of the Ghana U-17 national team (Black Starlets) etc.
Following their triumph, the Green-Whites have once again qualified for the Ashanti Regional Division Two promotional tournament. The club reached the final of the competition last season but narrowly missed out on promotion after losing to Ebony FC.
Benab FC have also recently gained exposure outside regional football after participating in Roc Nation Tournament, organised by entertainment mogul Jay-Z, which was held in Accra
