Benab FC have been crowned champions of Zone III of the Ashanti Regional Division Two Championship after an emphatic 4-1 victory over Afigya Barcelona, sealing the title with three games to spare.

Despite going behind early in the match and also missing a penalty, the ‘Everything by God’ side showed strong determination to stage an impressive comeback and secure the result that confirmed them as zonal champions for the sixth time.

Benab FC have enjoyed an outstanding campaign, recording 13 wins, one draw, and just one defeat in 15 matches, a run that has seen them dominate the competition and finish ahead of their rivals.

Several players played key roles in the club’s successful season, including Aziz Dembélé, captain and goalkeeper Dickson, Danger, General skipper Alhassan, John Boye, Babamu, Fabregas, and Joseph Narbi, the captain of the Ghana U-17 national team (Black Starlets)

Following their triumph, the Green-Whites have once again qualified for the Ashanti Regional Division Two promotional tournament. The club reached the final of the competition last season but narrowly missed out on promotion after losing to Ebony FC.

Benab FC have also recently gained exposure outside regional football after participating in Roc Nation Tournament, organised by entertainment mogul Jay-Z, which was held in Accra
