Renowned Ghanaian media personality Oheneni Adazoa has expressed her frustration and disappointment after a plantain chips seller allegedly made some derogatory remarks about her childlessness.
In a video shared on X on February 27, 2026, Oheneni fired back at the plantain seller who called her infertile and claimed that her allegations, that some vendors melt rubber in the oil used to fry plantain, stemmed from her not having children.
Responding to the individual, she stated that she would not remain silent while some sellers allegedly endanger lives simply because she has no child.

According to her, being childless does not make her less of a human being. She stressed that although she has no children, she still has a voice and will speak out when she believes something is wrong.
“If I don’t have a child, I still have a voice, so I will speak when things are going wrong. Some of them claim they use this business to take care of their children, so should a parent buy the plantain for their child to die?
“Some of you also say you don’t use rubber but use colouring instead. Is that any better? I know I don’t have a child, but that doesn’t make me a lesser human,” she said.

The media personality further stated that she prays God forgives the individual who made the hurtful remarks against her.
“The young lady on social media is insulting me because I don’t have a child, saying that is why I am doing all this. May God forgive you. God will judge all of us according to our deeds. I am hurt this morning,” she added.
