From a story shared on X by @Brownscorpio, a couple had broken up, not for che@ting nor disrespect, but for something that would be assumed to be a plus.

The man, who is currently getting married to another lady, says he broke up because she was “too smart”.

That she was always steps ahead; before he could process things, she already had a solution. That to him was being too forward and too aware. He wants someone simpler, someone he could lead without feeling intimidated.

After the br3@ke up, he will go ahead to support her business, and wish her well.

The writer concludes with a question:

“how do you lose a good woman, not because she lacked anything, but because she had too much?

This has stirred different reactions online:

@Ibuildo1 Hiss l0ss.. For someone like me? I’m never letting her go

@chookaah There is a man for every woman. For him to feel that way, she was smart in an imposing way, probably bru!sed his ego. You can be smarter than your man without making him look inferior.

@demzbebi What do men really want?

@thaGuyQriix He didn’t l0se her because she was ‘too much.’ He l0st her because he was too little. A man who feels thre@tened by intelligence isn’t ready for partnership… he’s looking for control. That’s not love. That’s ins3curity.

@WinterFairyEfeM Such a low quality man. Most men in our society don’t like smart women this is why they end up getting married to pretenders who wants to kpa! them after.
