Founder of the Ajagurajah Movement, Bishop Kwabena Asiamah, has advised Black Sherif to be cautious when making comments about dancehall musician Shatta Wale.
In a TikTok live video, the controversial spiritual leader cautioned that musicians who have publicly clashed with Shatta Wale have seen their careers fade away.
He pointed to artistes like Iwan, Yaa Pono, and the Militants, who lost their fame after disputes with the “On God” hitmaker.
“Where are musicians like Iwan, Yaa Pono, the Militants, and others who’ve had issues with Shatta Wale? Which musician still has a thriving career after clashing with him, apart from Stonebwoy? Black Sherif should be careful because Shatta Wale has the power to do that to him. He has some kind of protection backing him,” he said.
Ajagurajah also made a bold statement regarding the influence of certain individuals in the showbiz industry.
Citing examples, Ajagurajah explained that Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie shouldn’t be feared, but rather his wife, Tracy.
He claimed that Tracy possesses strong spiritual protection.
He also pointed out that Stonebwoy’s father is spiritually powerful and has been a key source of support for the dancehall musician.
“I’m not afraid of Sarkodie, but his wife, she’s someone I fear. A woman who can make you rich and stand by you through difficult times, I’m afraid of her. I’m also not afraid of Stonebwoy, but I fear his father. That man is spiritually strong. Why do you think Stonebwoy’s career is still thriving?”
Background:
The tension between Black Sherif and Shatta Wale started recently when Shatta criticised Black Sherif for disrespecting him on Snapchat by posting his picture and making a mockery of him.
This incident followed Shatta Wale’s earlier criticism of Black Sherif’s style of dressing during an episode of the Rants, Bants, and Confessions Podcast.
Infuriated by this, Shatta during a live session on X threatened to end Black Sherif’s career if he continues to mock him.
