Baba Abdul Rahman is a Ghana defender

Ghana defender Baba Abdul Rahman registered his first goal in the Europa League to inspire PAOK to a thumping victory over Young Boys.

The former Chelsea left-back sealed victory for the Greek giants with an exquisite finish in the 76th minute as POAK secured a 4-0 win at Toumba Stadium.

Baba Rahman also contributed an assist in the highly entertaining encounter. The 31-year-old served Alessandro Bianco with the opener nine minutes into the second half.

Giorgos Giakoumakis doubled the advantage eight minutes later before compatriot Giannis Konstantelias extended the lead to make it 3-0 in the 72nd minute.

POAK played most of the match with a man advantage following a 6th-minute red card to Young Boys’ Armin Gigovic.

The victory lifts the Greek outfit to tenth on the UEFA Europa League table after four games in the new campaign.

Meanwhile, Baba Rahman could make a return to the senior national team ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup following an impressive run this season.

He has scored two goals and has two assists in 15 games across all competitions.
