Left-back Abdul Baba Rahman has been named in the 2023/24 Team of the Season for the Greek Super League. Rahman’s debut season in Greece was nothing short of spectacular.

After leaving English side Reading, he joined Greek champions PAOK and immediately became a key player for the team.

Rahman made 28 league appearances, scoring five goals and providing three assists.

In the Europa League, he featured in 14 matches, including qualifiers, recording one goal and one assist.

His remarkable contributions were rewarded in May 2024 when PAOK secured the Greek Super League title.

Rahman has continued his excellent form into the 2024/25 season, already scoring four goals in 11 league appearances for PAOK.

His performances on and off the pitch have been exceptional, reflecting the potential that once made him one of the most sought-after young players in 2014.

This success marks a significant redemption for the former Chelsea player, who faced a major setback in February 2024 after a collision with an opponent during a Greek Cup match against Panathinaikos left him temporarily unconscious.
