Ghanaian veteran gospel musician, Edward Awasi Boateng, has once again clapped back at fellow singer, Broda Sammy, after their recent clash on the radio.
In a video shared on Instagram on October 13, 2025, sighted by GhanaWeb, the legendary musician cautioned believers to listen to Broda Sammy’s song at their own risk.
He explained that Broda Sammy’s songs do not resonate with the teachings of Christ; therefore, Christians should desist from listening to them if they genuinely want to make it to heaven.
‘Who are you, watch how to talk to me’ – Broda Sammy warns Edward Akwasi Boateng
“If you want to go to heaven, you don’t have to listen to his songs. I am only advising believers. I attend his program, but he doesn’t see me,” he said.
Edward Akwasi Boateng’s statement comes in response to a recent radio altercation that ensued between him and Sammy when the veteran musician advised Broda Sammy regarding controversies surrounding his music.
During the conversation, Broda Sammy, who was not pleased with the advice, quizzed the veteran singer, adding that he should equally be mindful of how he talks to him, and that he would not tolerate any form of insult under the guise of advice.
