Leicester City players have coined a new name for Ghanaian winger, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, after he showed up for training with a new hairstyle.

Issahaku, who is recovering from a season-ending injury, was in the dressing room ahead of a training session.

Issahaku showed up with his hair dyed gold, which amused his teammates, who reacted by giving him a new name—Auntie Fatawu.

In the video, Issahaku sought an explanation from his teammates about his new name, but they explained to him that his hairstyle is typically for women of a certain age in Nigeria.

The sight of Issahaku without the crutches would be good news to Leicester City fans who have missed the services of the winger.

The 22-year-old sustained the injury during Ghana’s AFCON 2025 qualifier against Angola, forcing him to miss the rest of the campaign.
