Augustine Boakye continued his impressive season with a key contribution as AS Saint-Étienne secured a 2-1 victory over USL Dunkerque in their latest league outing.

The Ghanaian midfielder registered his eighth assist of the campaign, playing a decisive role in helping Les Verts claim all three points in a tightly contested match. His creativity in the final third once again proved vital as Saint-Étienne maintained their push for promotion.

The result strengthens Saint-Étienne’s position in the promotion race, with the club now just three wins away from securing a return to Ligue 1.

Boakye’s consistent performances have been a standout feature of the season, with his assist tally highlighting his growing influence in the team’s attacking play. As the campaign reaches its decisive stage, Saint-Étienne will be counting on his form to maintain momentum.

Les Verts will now turn their attention to their remaining fixtures as they continue their quest to return to France’s top flight.
