Ghanaian media personality, Yaa Yeboah, has condemned the recent attack that occurred at the court premises during proceedings linked to Daddy Lumba’s funeral.
Speaking on UTV’s United Showbiz on November 23, 2025, she described the behaviour displayed at the court premises as `ill-mannered, uncivilised and unrefined’, warning that the escalating tensions could lead to a major clash on the day judgment is delivered.
According to Yaa Yeboah, the hostility shown towards Odo Broni and her family appeared intentional and orchestrated.
“The way things are moving, if we don’t check it well, there will be a big fight in court on the day of judgement. With the way things are now, in my opinion, I feel like they were sent to do whatever they’re doing. What kind of hatred is that?” she quizzed.
She noted that the violent confrontation at the court was unnecessary and disgraceful.
“Look at the mannerisms that were displayed at the court. The attack was ill-mannered, uncivilised and unrefined. Should we leave our jobs and say because of the hatred we have for Odo Broni, what at all has she done? What was her crime?,” she questioned.

Yaa Yeboah further defended Odo Broni, emphasizing that being in a relationship and having children should not make her a target of hatred.
“Is it because she had a relationship with someone and gave birth to six children to extend the man’s legacy? If not for Lumba’s death, where would we know the Abusuapanin from? This is not nice at all,” she stated.
She welcomed the judge’s directive ordering the police to investigate and arrest individuals involved in the attack.
“I was happy when the judge instructed the next day that police should investigate so they could arrest all those who went to attack Odo Broni’s family,” she said.
Yaa Yeboah concluded by urging the court to ensure tight security when the final ruling is delivered next week, stressing that tensions are too high to ignore.
“I will urge the court that if they’re to rule the case next week, I think there should be heavy security there. This is because we don’t know who the judgement will favour and there might be fight,” she added.
