Eric Adakanu, age 32, was taken into custody by the Kasoa Divisional Police Command and turned over to the Bawjiase District Police Command.

After accusing his 32-year-old wife, Ayisha Mununi, of cheating on him at Awutu Bawjiase in the Central Region’s Awutu Senya West District, Eric allegedly slaughtered her.

Although Ayisha refuted the charge, it sparked a furious dispute. According to police reports, during the altercation, Eric entered his brother’s room, took out a cutlass, and immediately killed Ayisha by butchering her.

According to information obtained by Adom News, the couple lives in Accra but traveled to Bawjiase to celebrate Christmas with Eric’s older brother. The couple has three lovely children and has been married for more than ten years.

The body has been placed in the mortuary of the Police Hospital, and the suspect is presently being held at the Bawjiase District Police Command.
