Apostle Daniel Atta Gyebi, is the leader of the House of Jacob Chapel

Popular Ghanaian preacher, Apostle Daniel Atta Gyebi, has shared his thoughts on the government’s recent directive requiring religious leaders to submit prophecies of national significance for review.

In a post shared on X on August 15, 2025, Prophet Daniel Atta Gyebi described the directive as a wrong move by the government.

He explained that the presidency should identify a spiritually strong prophet in the country who will be in charge of the spirituality so far as the president is concerned.

“It is a wrong move. They should look for one person who is spiritually strong to be praying for the president. If there is anything the presidency should consult the person,” he said.

Apostle Daniel Atta Gyebi added that if the government doesn’t retract its policy, prophets will storm the designated office with numerous fake prophecies.

How some prophets have reacted to prophecy review directive by government

“From tomorrow, we will start submitting our prophecies to the office as they have opened for us. You will see their offices filled with prophecies. Some people will be like ‘the Flagstaff House will burn, so everyone should surround the building and pray’,” he added.
