National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has urged party members in the Agona West and Agona East constituencies to remain united as the party prepares for the 2028 general elections.
He said unity requires collective effort to consolidate the grassroots and sustain what he described as good governance, so that Ghanaians can continue to enjoy improved living conditions.

Speaking during a recent Thank You Tour, Asiedu Nketiah said unity remains central to the NDC’s success.
In a snippet shared on Facebook by GBC on February 19, 2026, he cautioned against internal wrangling and divisions, warning that infighting could derail the party’s progress particularly in Agona West, where the NDC had struggled for years to secure a decisive victory.
Asiedu Nketiah warned that political opponents were already reorganising and strategising strongly towards the 2028 polls.

“You are the cause of tensions here. As you made peace prevail before the electoral victory, do not allow divisions to emerge after.
“If you continue on this path, it will lead to destruction. Mark this day, if you do not stop the infighting, it will be too late,” he remarked.
According to the National Chairman, the tour of the Central Region is aimed at appreciating the contributions of party executives, grassroots members and supporters whose efforts secured victory in the 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
