Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak are set for a fierce transfer battle over the signature of highly-rated winger Evans Osei Wusu.

The talented wide man has emerged as a hot commodity this transfer window, following a series of impressive performances last season. Both Kotoko and Hearts have formally expressed interest, with negotiations expected to intensify in the coming days.

Sources close to the player have confirmed that Evans Osei Wusu is open to both options but is weighing which project aligns better with his ambitions ahead of the 2025/26 season.

Asante Kotoko, under the leadership of new technical head Prosper Narteh Ogum, are keen to reinforce their flanks with more pace and creativity.

Osei Wusu fits the bill perfectly, and the Porcupines are confident they can convince him to join their rebuilding project.

Hearts of Oak, meanwhile, see the winger as an ideal addition to their attacking setup under new coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, who is determined to reshape the squad into a title-challenging unit.

Both clubs have made early contact with the player’s representatives, but no official agreement has been reached yet.

With two of Ghana’s biggest clubs in the race, the coming days could prove decisive in determining Osei Wusu’s next destination.
