Asante Kotoko are on the verge of completing the signing of 21-year-old Joseph Amoah from Legon Cities, according to multiple reports.
The Porcupine Warriors have moved quickly to wrap up the deal, with personal terms expected to be finalised after a medical is completed today.
If all goes smoothly, final documentation will be exchanged between the two clubs within the next 24 hours.
Amoah, who is highly regarded for his energy, defensive intelligence and passing range, can operate both as a left-back and a central midfielder, a versatility that has made him a top target for Kotoko as they rebuild their squad ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
The youngster was previously in talks with rivals Hearts of Oak, but negotiations broke down, clearing the path for Kotoko to move decisively for his signature.
If confirmed, Amoah will become one of the new additions under the club’s new technical setup led by coach Abdul Karim Zito, as the Reds look to strengthen key positions and mount a strong challenge for the upcoming campaign.
