The student captured beating his juniors with a cutlass
A section of the public has called on the Inspector-General of Police to order the immediate arrest of a student, believed to be a senior, who was caught on video assaulting younger students with a cutlass.
The viral video, which has sparked public outrage, shows the student whose school remains unidentified beating the juniors for allegedly failing to comply with his directives.
His actions have been widely condemned by netizens, who have taken to social media platform X, formerly Twitter, to express their disgust.
A furious user commented: “This stupidity in the name of seniority in SHS must end. Both religion and culture speaks against such inhuman acts .Authorities must severely punish infant dismiss this bully so as the security service must arrest him for assault. What if the cutlass had cut any of them.”
