Entertainment personality, Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo, has fired back at critics following the controversy surrounding the Artiste of the Year category at the recently concluded Ghana Music Awards USA.

Recently, netizens have raised concerns about the credibility of the awards scheme after gospel musician Empress Gifty won the ‘Artiste of the Year’ title.

Many have questioned the criteria used, expressing surprise that Empress Gifty triumphed over artistes like Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, Black Sherif, King Promise, and others, whom were believed to have worked exceptionally hard throughout the year.

“I sat on TV for 2years, 2 freaking years, explaining the modalities and dynamics of the @gmausa. I offered directions on which portal to get all relevant information on the scheme.
