The General Overseer of Christ Revival Baptist Church, Prophet Johnson Adu-Boahen, has expressed dismay over the low salaries paid to some employees.

In a video shared on X on March 10, 2024, Prophet Adu-Boahen stated that the act of employers paying their staff GH¢1,000 or less should be considered inhumane.

He said such employers often crush the dreams of those that work for them.

“The most wicked person in the church is someone who employs people and decides not to pay them. Also, those who pay less than GH¢ 1,000 are equally wrong. People should be stealing from such a person,” he said.

Prophet Adu-Boahen emphasised that if the employer eventually reports that their employees are stealing from him or her, the police should discipline them for failing to pay the expected minimum wage.

“If such a person reports to the police, the judges and lawyers should note that they deserve it, because they are punishing people. Such a person deserves punishment,” he added.
