Black Stars attacker Antoine Selorm Semenyo has been adjudged player of match-week 26 in the English Premier League following his outstanding display against Fulham in the midweek.

The Cityzens in the midweek extended their winning run in the league with an emphatic 3-0 home win over Fulham at the Etihad Stadium to continue their chase towards league leaders Arsenal

The 26-year-old was the real deal in the game having gotten involved in two goals; scoring the opener in the 24th minute before setting up youngester Nico O’Reilly for the second six minutes later.

Lethal Erling Haaland added the other with six minutes to the interval to seal the victory.

Semenyo, claimed the accolade through fan voting where accumulated 39% of the total votes and won over Liverpool captain Virgil Van Djik, Lukas Nmecha, goalkeeper Jose Sa, Malick Thiaw and Jaidon Anthony.

Antoine Semenyo came on as a substitute for Phil Foden in the Sky Blues’s 2-0 victory against Salford City in round four of the Emirates FA Cup.
