Ghana international Antoine Semenyo put up another strong performance for AFC Bournemouth on Saturday, helping the Cherries secure their first Premier League win of the season against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Black Stars forward started and lasted the full duration of the game as Bournemouth claimed a narrow 1-0 victory at the Vitality Stadium.
Semenyo played a decisive role, providing the assist for the only goal of the contest. He set up England international Marcus Tavernier, who calmly slotted home to give the hosts the lead.
Both sides created chances, but with no further goals, Bournemouth held on to secure all three points.
The former Bristol City attacker has been in fine form since the start of the 2025/26 campaign, with two goals and an assist in his opening two matches. He netted a brace against Liverpool in the season opener, though it was not enough to rescue his side from defeat.
With three direct goal contributions in just two games, Semenyo will be hoping to maintain his red-hot form throughout the season.
