Ghana international Antoine Semenyo converted a penalty to help AFC Bournemouth secure victory over Everton in the English FA Cup round 4.

Semenyo was in blistering form on Saturday as his outfit cruised to a 2-0 victory over the Toffees at Goodison Park.

Everton captain James Tarkowski endured a terrible afternoon. He conceded a penalty before committing a blunder for Bournemouth’s second goal of the match.

The Black Stars forward, who had ignited Bournemouth’s comeback victory on the same ground in August 2024, won and converted from the spot in the 22nd minute.

Bournemouth doubled their advantage before the interval after Daniel Jebbison capitalized on Tarkowski’s mistake to slot home the second goal of the match.

With no additional goals in the much-anticipated clash, the Cherries cruised to victory, ensuring their qualification to round 5 of the FA Cup competition this season.

The 25-year-old Ghanaian forward has been in scintillating form this season for the Cherries, scoring nine goals and providing four assists from 26 games across competitions.

In the FA Cup competition, Semenyo has racked up two goals and provided one assist from two appearances.
