Black Stars forward Antoine Semenyo has become the fifth Ghanaian with the most goals in the English Premier League after finding the back of the net for AFC Bournemouth in the match against Manchester United on Sunday, April 27, 2025.

The highly rated striker started for his club today and put on an impressive performance for the team.

Semenyo opened the scoring for his team in the 23rd minute after Evanilson set him up.

After his goal against Manchester United, the Black Stars striker increased his tally to 18, one more than Chelsea legend Michael Essien in the chart of Ghanaian Players with the most goals in the English Premier League.

Semenyo is now three goals behind Andre Ayew in fourth place and four behind Jeffrey Schlupp, who is in third place.

Black Stars captain Jordan Ayew leads the chart with 41 goals in the English Premier League, followed by the great Anthony Yeboah with 24 goals.

With his form in the English Premier League, Antoine Semenyo could equal or get closer to Andre Ayew and Jeffrey Schlupp before the end of the season.
