Two-time British World Heavyweight Champion, Anthony Joshua is set to face Jake Paul on December 19, 2025, in an epic encounter.
The fight was confirmed on Monday, November 17, 2025, by Most Valuable Promotions and Netflix, and is scheduled to take place in Miami, United States.
It will be an eight-round bout with three-minute rounds and 10-ounce gloves.
This will be Anthony Joshua’s first fight since being knocked out by Daniel Dubois in September 2024, while Jake Paul secured a unanimous decision victory against veteran Julio Cesar Chavez Jnr earlier in 2025.

Speaking ahead of the bout, Paul noted that defeating Joshua would open the door for him to fight for world titles and elevate his standing.
“A professional heavyweight fight against an elite world champion in his prime. When I beat Anthony Joshua, every doubt disappears and no one can deny me the opportunity to fight for a world title. To all my haters, this is what you wanted,” Jake said, as reported by Sky Sports News.
Joshua, a two-time heavyweight champion, said this fight serves as a chance to bounce back from his previous defeats and relaunch his career.
“Jake or anyone can get this work. No mercy. I took some time out and I’m coming back with a mega show. It’s a big opportunity for me. Whether you like it or not, I’m here to do massive numbers, have big fights, and break every record whilst keeping cool, calm, and collected.
“Mark my words, you’ll see a lot more fighters take these opportunities in the future. I’m about to break the internet over Jake Paul’s face,” he noted.
