The owner of Young Apostles Football Club, Samuel Anim Addo, has revealed that he has not received an invitation to attend the 2025 Ghana Football Association (GFA) Congress scheduled for August 12, 2025.

According to Anim Addo, he sent an email to the GFA to enquire about his invitation latter because he was eager to attend the Congress.

However, the former GFA Executive Council Member disclosed that he received a feedback that he would not be able to join the personalities to vote in the decision-making process because of a technical error.

Speaking in an interview with Sporty FM on August 8, 2025, Anim Addo fumed about the decision, questioning the motive behind it.

“I sent an email to the GFA to ask whether I could appear at Congress to vote, and it bounced back saying the email was full. How can that be?” he questioned.

Ghanaians don’t have the power to stop Kurt Okraku’s third term, only Congress can – Eric Alagidede

Regarding the possibility of current GFA President, Kurt Okraku running for a third term, Anim Addo rejected the idea, suggesting that it might not augur well for Ghana football in the future.

“Anyone who thinks extending the GFA president’s term limit to three is a good thing does not love Ghana,” he added.

This comes after reports emerged that Kurt is likely to run for a third term after the GFA’s third term limit proposal was approved by the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA).
