Angel Reese was ejected from an Unrivaled game on Saturday night – and later took several shots at the league – as she lost her temper and continued berating referees following a controversial call.

Reese was called for a reach-in foul on Tiffany Hayes towards the end of the second quarter while the Laces BC player tried to drive to the hoop.

Hayes fell to the ground after her opponent swiped for the ball, but Reese seemingly thought the foul call was unwarranted and dismissively waved her hand in the air several times.

One referee believed the call was directed at him – rather than Hayes – and slapped Reese with a technical foul.

And that only incensed the 22-year-old even more, as she began arguing with referees.

She pointed towards Hayes at one point, as if to say that she was trying to communicate her displeasure with her, and not the referees.

Reese continued remonstrating as Hayes stood at the free throw line before she was eventually given a second technical foul.

‘Angel Reese was just tossed,’ analyst Sarah Kustok said in disbelief.

The camera then cut to a frustrated Reese standing on the sideline before she waved her hand again and walked to the locker room.

Responding to a fan on X who couldn’t believe that Reese was thrown out – which represented the first ejection in the new Unrivaled league’s history – Reese said she ‘can’t wait to get back to chicago.’

Reese also reposted a video of her on camera after the ejection with the caption ‘free me.’

She also joked about being the first player in Unrivaled history to be ejected before acknowledging she should stop posting.

‘let me get off here before Jeanine [her marketing rep] come deactivate my account.’

Reese had previously gushed about the perks of the nascent 3-on-3 league, which pays all players a minimum six-figure salary.

The league began play in Miami last month and will run for a total of two months before the WNBA season starts back up in May.

Reese was also ejected while playing for the Chicago Sky against the New York Liberty last season.

She finished Saturday’s game with six points, 15 rebounds, three assists and one block before being ejected.

Her Rose BC ultimately won the game 83-69, led by Chelsea Gray’s 28 points.
