Ghanaian gospel musician Diana Asamoah has shared her thoughts on Nana Agradaa’s 15-year sentence.

In a video posted on Instagram on July 10, 2025, Diana Asamoah addressed Agradaa’s husband, Angel Asiamah, urging him not to be overly distraught about his wife’s imprisonment.

“I want to tell Angel Asiamah not to worry. He should return as a transformed person. He is a great evangelist,” she stated.

Diana Asamoah emphasised that Agradaa’s imprisonment is not accidental but part of God’s plan.

According to her, God will use this period to shape Agradaa into a powerful preacher who will positively impact lives.

“God has deliberately allowed her to be imprisoned, and it is for a purpose. God knows why He has separated her from her properties. When God calls you and you’re being stubborn, He has a way of humbling you,” she said.

She also issued a warning to others who claim to be called by God but live contrary to that calling.

“To those of you who claim to be called by God yet are selling gari, and when I speak out you threaten my life, your time will come. Don’t worry,” she added.

    Nana Agradaa’s 15-year jail sentence

On July 3, 2025, Nana Agradaa was sentenced to 15 years in prison with hard labour after being found guilty of charlatanic advertisement and defrauding by false pretences.

The charges stemmed from a viral 2022 video in which she promised to double money for anyone who attended an all-night service at her church in Weija, a claim that led to widespread public outcry and legal action.
