Antoine Semenyo, has reaffirmed his commitment to Bournemouth by signing a new long-term contract, despite interest from other Premier League clubs.

Bournemouth manager, Andoni Iraola, is relying on Antoine Semenyo’s experience to help the club succeed in the upcoming season.

Antoine Semenyo had a standout season with Bournemouth, scoring 13 goals and providing 5 assists in 42 appearances across all competitions.

The Ghanaian forward has been actively participating in Bournemouth’s pre-season games, and the Spanish coach has expressed confidence in his abilities for the upcoming season.

“Antoine is someone that I would say; has been progressing a lot, year after year. Starting from lower divisions through getting to the Premier League. He has been improving every season, playing more, having better stats, being more important for the team. So, I hope he can continue this progression,” Iraola said

“I hope he can continue this progression and even help us because he’s acquired some experience. I hope he can give us some leadership. If he can continue playing like he was playing last season, it will be very helpful. He was so important for us because of the numbers and the work he does for the team,” he added.

Antoine Semenyo’s new deal binds him to Bournemouth until June 2030.
