A little girl’s selective applause sparked jealousy in her father after she clapped enthusiastically for her mother but refused to do the same for him.

The viral clip posted by the mother @mumcyanabella showed their toddler sitting on the bed, excited to clap her hands. The mother said their daughter clapped for her, to which she responded with an immediate expression of delight.

However, when her mother instructed the young child to applaud her father, she refused and stared into the air.

Overwhelmed by joy, she sent the video to her father on WhatsApp. In the voice note, the man showed jealousy and questioned why his wife was joyful.

@mumcyanabella replied that she is happy their toddler clapped for her because she wouldn’t have done that if he were at home.

Many have found the father’s response amusing, praising the toddler for embracing the women-supporting-women phase.
