A young lady has taken to social media to recount an experience she had while commuting in Lagos.

According to her, the bus she boarded was stopped by some LASTMA officers, who allegedly collected all the money in the driver’s possession, including the conductor’s takings.

This left the driver and passengers stranded, with no means to continue their journey. While everyone was confused and frustrated, she said “an angel in human form” who happened to be in the same vehicle stepped up.

The kind stranger volunteered to go to a nearby POS, withdrew money, and paid the transport fare for all the stranded passengers. To make the act of kindness even more remarkable, he also gave the driver some extra cash.

Social media users sympathized with the young lady, many were deeply moved by the gesture, describing the man as a true lifesaver and proof that good people still exist in society.
