The children of American business mogul, Sean Combs professionally known as Diddy commemorated his 55th birthday despite his physical absence.
The video showed the rappers’ five kids; King Combs, Justin Dior Combs, Jessie James Combs, Chance Combs, and D’Lila Star Combs singing the happy birthday song while chatting with their father on a video call and placing a red velvet cake in the center.
His youngest kid led the birthday chant, and then she blew out the candles and started eating the cake icing.
Diddy’s children felt a mix of love and longing as they celebrated their dad’s 55th birthday without him. In his absence, they displayed a strong sense of love for their father, despite the damning allegations against him.
Diddy had previously assured and praised his kids for their strength and affection, which shone through during the celebration.
Diddy’s 55th birthday, meanwhile, was an emotional affair due to the distance between him and his kids. The 55-year-old musician appreciates them for being strong and together during the jail phone call and promises to see them soon to enjoy a family moment.
Many were unimpressed by the video of the rapper and his family, as they claimed that this was just a way for him to gain sympathy points ahead of his upcoming trial.
The rapper is currently being held in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, following his arrest earlier this year. The rapper was arrested after multiple pieces of evidence and witnesses of his criminal misconduct surfaced this year.
He is currently facing accusations of sexual assault, sex trafficking, abuse, and harassment, along with other serious criminal offenses, which he was alleged to have committed over the course of his 30-plus years in the industry.
