A Nigeran mom shares the adorable moment her little daughter waddled over to her older sibling in tears tugged at his shirt and cried out “mommy“.

Overwhelmed and confused, she looked to her brother, believing he could save the day, as it looked like their mum was going to discipline her for something she had done.

Without missing a beat, her big brother who is likely used to her little tantrums turned to her with a mix of panic and frustration, then pointed towards their actual mom’s direction, indicating that she should go to her instead.

He pointed out to the little one that he wasn’t her mother but her brother, saying “I’m not your mommy… I’m your brother… leave me alone! See your mummy there…”

The little boy barely older than his younger sister was already feeling the responsibility of having a younger sibling who looked up to him.

The innocent mix-up and the little boy’s reaction elicited positive reactions from netizens, with many reminiscing about their siblings’ struggles and the endless demand placed on older siblings
