Ghanaian musician Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, popularly known as Mzbel, has made a bold statement that has sparked reactions across social media.

In excerpts of an interview making rounds on social media on December 6, 2025, Mzbel stated that married men should be allowed to have more than one partner.

According to her, men who engage in sexual affairs outside their marriages should not be considered sinful, adding that wives should allow their husbands to “cheat.”

“I don’t know who brought the idea that if you have sex with another woman while in a relationship, it is a sin. Every man gets happy after having sex outside marriage.

“…So, as a wife, you want your husband to be happy and feel good. I don’t see any problem with a man having multiple partners,” she said.

Mzbel also commented on the controversies surrounding the late Daddy Lumba’s personal life.

According to her, she cannot understand why some Ghanaians are criticising the late singer for choosing to settle down with more than one wife.

“I don’t understand why they are making it a big deal. It is a nice thing for him to have children with multiple women,” she added.
